Long lunches stretch into the afternoon. In the evening, relax by the blazing fire while our Italian-trained chef prepares a beautiful meal: hand-made pasta, fresh mozzarella, rosemary focaccia straight from the oven.
A set four-course menu, Italian in style, with home-grown vegetables and herbs and free-range eggs and milk from the Malu cows.

Forest walks & hot springs
Malu’s 1,800 acres are a peaceful haven for adults and a natural playground for children. Stroll or hike through the last indigenous cedar forest of the eastern Rift Valley, swing from vines, explore the streams and look out for colobus monkeys.
There is a plunge pool fed by natural hot springs, among fig trees and vines, and the reserve is home to a rich variety of plants, birds, butterflies and animals such as bushbuck and dik-dik.
